Lucero Smelling a Flower

This is cropped picture of Lucero which I cut from a panel of Lucero:A799 for issue 3 of The Arcadia Anthology. I was really digging this panel where I colored it. I figured I could give you guys a taste with out giving away the story. I think that out of the 3 issues that I have done the art for, this issue has to have been the most fun because I get to show the readers the human side of Lucero. I get to show everyone how a bioengineered weapon developes a heart. If you guys like this, then I know you would really like the full panel. I will be handing the reigns of coloring Lucero to Kyle Chaney Jr for issue 4 & 5. I will still be writing her story and doing pencils and inks. I just have a lot going on for the next few months and I dont want to have to worry about getting to close to my deadlines like I have in the past. I trust Kyle with his coloring and I think she will be in good hands until I return to colors for issue 6 (The final issue of "The Arcadia Anthology"). It is important for me to do the last issue because the last story of Lucero:A799 leads of to my first solo comic. I would tell the name of the book, but for now it is a secret. I like the name of the book and in this day and age, good names are hard to find. I dont want anyone to take it from me before I get a chance to use it.
